"Three Colors: Red" is the final part of Krzysztof Kieśliowski's famous "Three Colors" trilogy. The film tells the story of Valentina, a young model living in Geneva. She accidentally hits a dog and meets its owner, a retired judge. It turns out that the judge is listening to the phone conversations of her neighbors. At first, this situation shocks Valentina, but over time, a complex and sincere relationship develops between them. The film explores the themes of fate, the hidden connection between people, loneliness, forgiveness and solidarity in a deeply philosophical style.
