A postman discovers the warm-hearted people of northern France.

The film is about Philippe, a postal worker in southern France, who is sent to the northern region as a punishment. He thinks the place is very cold and bad, but when he visits, he realizes that the people are very kind and friendly. He becomes friends with the local postal worker Antoine. However, when Philippe returns home, he has a false impression of the place. The film tells a funny and warm story about stereotypes, cultural differences and human warmth. In the end, people learn to understand each other better.
