An adventurer and an interpreter head into the Amazon jungle to find a shaman's stolen soul in this classic action comedy.

In a luxury hotel in Paris, a shaman from the Amazon rainforest encounters François Perrin, a hopeless gambler and con artist. The shaman claims that Perrin is "the chosen one" to save his soul, which has been stolen by a powerful enemy back in the jungle. Accompanied by Jean Campana, an expert on indigenous cultures, Perrin travels to the Amazon. The unlikely duo must navigate through dangerous terrains and face ruthless villains to fulfill a mystical prophecy.
