A man races against time to find a wife and claim his inheritance.

Young stockbroker Jimmie Shannon discovers that he can inherit a fortune if he gets married before 7 p.m. on his 27th birthday. His friends try to help him find a bride, but the situation quickly turns into a hilarious disaster when the news spreads. Hundreds of women begin chasing him, creating one of the most memorable comedy sequences of the silent film era. Directed by Buster Keaton, the film remains a classic of physical comedy.
