Centuries ago, Master Gregory defeated and imprisoned Mother Malkin, a powerful and dangerous witch. When she escapes, she begins gathering her followers and preparing to unleash dark magic upon humanity. Gregory knows that he cannot stop her alone, so he searches for a new apprentice. His last hope is Tom Ward, a young farmer who happens to be the seventh son of a seventh son, a rare condition believed to give him extraordinary abilities. Tom must quickly learn how to fight supernatural creatures and resist dark magic before the next full moon. As Mother Malkin grows stronger, Tom faces a dangerous journey filled with witches, monsters, betrayal and secrets that will test whether he can truly become the warrior Gregory needs.
