An explorer searches for a lost city in the Amazon and vanishes.

The film is based on the real life of British explorer Percy Fawcett. He believes that there is an ancient lost city in the Amazon jungle and organizes several expeditions to find it. Even though society and scientific circles reject his ideas, Fawcett does not give up his belief. He repeatedly travels to unknown territories, risking his family and his safe life. The film deeply reveals the human desire for dreams, obsessions and exploration. Throughout the plot, his relationship with his son and his mysterious disappearance are dramatically depicted, which makes the film even more touching.
