“The Chronicles of Evil” is a 2015 South Korean crime thriller. The film tells the story of an experienced detective, Choi Chang-sik. He is on the verge of being promoted to a higher position due to his success in the service. One night, during a conflict with a taxi driver, he accidentally kills a man and tries to cover up his crime. But the next day, the same body is found hanging in front of the police station. The most terrible thing is that Chang-sik himself is entrusted with the investigation of this case. Throughout the film, he tries to hide his secrets and find an unknown avenger. The picture is distinguished by a tense plot and strong psychological pressure.
