Cold Storage is a 2026 horror-comedy that follows two night-shift workers, Travis “Teacake” Meacham and Naomi Williams, who labor at a self-storage facility built atop an abandoned military base. When a decades-sealed parasitic fungus escapes with rising temperatures, it mutates rapidly and begins infecting and controlling its victims, threatening global catastrophe. Joined by retired bioterror expert Robert Quinn, the unlikely trio must confront the grotesque, chaotic outbreak and prevent humanity’s annihilation. Blending absurd humor with sci-fi horror elements, the film mixes slapstick, tension, and gross-out thrills as the characters navigate escalating chaos in an increasingly bizarre and dangerous battle for survival.
